SwimCats have been fairly successful in the Open Water Swimming discipline. Members of the club have been winners of events such as The Redhouse river mile, the Ocean Racing Series as well as various other SSA sanctioned Open Water Events.

In this seasons Ocean Racing Series, SwimCats swimmers are regularly finishing in the top 10, and are dominating the ladies competition.
